RETURNS POLICY
We want our customers to be fully satisfied with our products. If you don’t like the bicycle or have simply just changed your mind, you can always return it to us within 14 days from date of delivery date. We offer this service FREE OF CHARGE. The bicycle should not be used, and must be returned in its original packaging and packed in the same way as we sent it to you. Returns that has not been informed to us and confirmed by us, will not be accepted. Therefore, always contact us first through hello@bikebyme.com if you would like to do such a thing. We will do the rest from there

At Bike by Me we operate a flexible returns policy and are happy to refund / exchange items that are damaged in transit, faulty, not what you ordered or if you simply change your mind. If you order wrong size or color we will of course send you the correct one, however, you will have to take the cost for the replacement and freight cost. Please check your correct frame size by referring to our size guide on our website before ordering.

FREIGHT & DELIVERY
Normal shipping time is often between 1-5 working days and we normally build your order withing 24 hours from your order confirmation. We always strive to get your bicycle to you as quickly as possible. You always have the chance to choose another color that we have in stock.

We will e-mail you a consignment or tracking number as soon as your order has been dispatched from our warehouse in Sweden. Please note that the bicycle will be delivered during daytime. If you are not able to be home you must inform us with your special delivery instructions before we dispatch your goods!

Once you receive the consignment, you will be able to track you order on the shipment company’s website. Unfortunately we are not able to track the delivery for you, all questions regarding your delivery should be directed to the shipment company as stated in your consignment. Please note that we cannot deliver to P.o Box

SECURE PAYMENT
Bike by Me accept Payment through PayPal, Klarna (If your billing address is Sweden, Denmark or Finland), MasterCard and VISA credit cards for online orders (with 3D Secure Card Encryption). Your payment will go through immediately once your order is placed, through our secure online payment facility.

WARRANTY & FAULTS
This warranty gives the consumer specific legal rights and those rights may vary from place to place. This warranty does not affect the statutory rights of the consumer.

A bicycle consists of many different components and is therefore warranted under different terms. Therefore any fault with a particular component on your bicycle will be dealt with as an individual issue with that particular faulty part. So if a part brakes we will replace it with a new and better part for you.

Bike by Me warrants each new Bike by Me bicycle component against defects in workmanship and materials, for a period of THREE YEARS for the original owner from the date of purchase. Warranty will not be valid if you modify or change your bicycle. This warranty is expressly limited to the repair or replacement of defective frame or defective parts, and is the sole remedy of the warranty. This warranty applies only to original owners and is not transferable. Claims under this warranty must be made directly to Bike by Me. Proof of purchase directly from Bike by Me is required. Defective parts on Bike by Me bicycles must be specified and photos of broken parts e-mailed to hello@bikebyme.com

The warranty does not cover; normal wear and tear, improper assembly or follow up maintenance, or installation of parts or accessories not originally intended or compatible with the bicycle as sold. The warranty does not apply to damage or failure due to accident, misuse, abuse, or neglect. Modification of the frame or components shall void this warranty. Bike by Me shall not be responsible for incidental or consequential damages. Bike by Me is not paying for any labor cost, transportation costs or other costs for replacing a defect component.

PRODUCTS OUT OF STOCK
If a product is out of stock or if a product is unavailable either temporarily or permanently - we will try to let you know so that you can cancel your purchase or wait until the product is in stock. We will always try to keep you updated. The best way to avoid delays due to out of stock issues, is to simply choose the next best component. We know it’s tough, and it is of course a balance of fast delivery and absolute delivery. We try our best to deliver you both. If a product is out of stock, we will of course not be able to hold our normal delivery times.

CONTENT
Bike by Me cannot warrant that the content of www.bikebyme.com is at all time free of inaccuracies or typographical errors. Neither can we guarantee that all information is up-to-date. Bike by Me may at any time change the content of the site.

VAT – VALUE ADDED TAX
Bike by Me prices includes VAT at the standard Swedish rate of 25% for orders inside the European Union (EU). No tax and VAT will be added extra when receiving the goods. Swedish VAT doesn't apply to orders shipped outside the EU or to Tax Free places. Shipping to these areas will be priced and charged excluding VAT. PLEASE NOTE: You have to take care of paying applicable taxes stated in your country, you may also pay for handling fee if it appears, none of these costs will be taken by Bike by Me

PRODUCT PRICE ERRORS
We do our best to ensure that product prices on our website are up-to-date and correct, but errors occur occasionally. Please contact us if you think there is a problem. If you have been charged the wrong amount when shopping from the web shop, we will give you the opportunity of placing a new order with the correct price, or cancelling your order. If we are unable to get in contact with you, we will cancel your order.

MAINTENANCE
Please note that all our bicycles leave our warehouses having been built by experienced mechanics. Certain parts of the bicycle such as the bottom bracket, are assembled and correctly tightened by us before they leave our premises. We check every bicycle very carefully before they leave us. However, nuts and bolts and similar mechanical parts will need your attention on a weekly basis. Especially in the beginning of your bike’s life. So please check all nuts and screws before every ride in the beginning.

JURISDICTION
Any disputes shall be governed by and conducted in all respects in accordance with the laws of Sweden. We are selling under the Swedish consumer law.

YOUR PERSONAL INFO
We only collect the information we may need to create a better shopping experience for you. Bike by Me does not sell or otherwise share your personal information with anyone else, such as advertising agencies or marketing companies. If you do not wish to receive our extraordinary e-mails from Bike by Me, just remove your e-mail address from our database by clicking in the link unregister me in the email we are sending you.

A cookie is a small text file stored on your computer which our bicycle website uses to remember the preferences you select when using the site and other settings designed to make using our website easier. Bike by Me cannot take responsibility for any damages, compensatory, indirect, consequential or direct, data loss, income, profit, property loss or damage and third party claims implied or otherwise when using this website.

FORCE MAJEURE
Notwithstanding any other provision set forth in these Terms & Conditions, Bike by Me shall not be liable for any failure or delay in its performance due to any cause beyond our reasonable control, including, without limitation, any act of war or civil insurrection, national emergencies, acts of God, fire, explosion, vandalism, storm, earthquake, flood, embargo, riot, sabotage, industry-wide supplier failures, unavailability of materials, rights of way of governmental acts; provided however that Bike by Me shall use its commercially reasonable efforts to correct such failure or delay in performance to the extent consistent with then applicable law and appropriate regulatory requirements in light of the existing circumstances.
